Laurierbladeren zijn de gedroogde bladeren van de laurier plant of boom. Deze groeit vooral in het middellandse zeegebied. In Frankrijk kom ik ze regelmatig in het wild tegen. De kwaliteit is het beste als de bladeren groen zijn en mooi buigzaam. Laurier wordt regelmatig gebruikt bij vlees, vis, soepen en sauzen.
